Vessels Of Hope Overview
“Vessels of Hope”

Help Phi Theta Kappa
at Chandler-Gilbert Community College
support the Center for Cancer
& Blood Disorders at Phoenix Children’s Hospital.
How? By sponsoring a vessel!

Over the course of the summer,
students volunteered their time and talents to create ceramic vessels designed
to allow children to store messages of hope and inspiration. The vessels are
one-of-a-kind works of art and were made especially for the Vessels of Hope
project. The vessels are on display in the Chandler-Gilbert Community College library from September 24th to October 12th for all to see. The
number in front of each vessel coincides with the vessel number on the auction
website!

By sponsoring a vessel, you will
help raise money for the Center for Cancer & Blood Disorders at Phoenix Children’s Hospital. More importantly, you will put a smile on the face of the
child who receives the vessel in your name.
As the highest bidder:
- You will have the option of
including a personalized note with the vessel.
- You will receive a certificate
of appreciation from Phi Theta Kappa!
- Your donation is tax
deductible. So please sponsor a vessel for a child!

To
sponsor a vessel for a child:
Go to www.cgc.edu/auction. Click on the photo of
a vessel and follow the instructions to enter your bid. Your name and bid will
be visible on the website, and bids will be updated daily. Frequently check
the website to review the status of your bid. If you have been out-bid, you
can increase your bid! If your bid is the highest at the end of the bidding
period, you will receive an e-mail with instructions on how to proceed.
It’s that
easy!
All
vessels will go to the children in the Center, and all money raised will go to
the Center for Cancer & Blood Disorders at Phoenix Children’s Hospital. Bidding
opens on Monday, September 24th at 7:00 A.M. The last day to place a
bid is Friday, October 12th at 11:59 P.M.
